The Col Shamsher Singh Foundation in partnership with the Fatehgarh Saheb Health Department organised a signature campaign to draw attention awareness to Female Foeticide. Thousands of people signed the pledge to protect the rights of the unborn girl child. The campaign was timed to coincide with the Sirhind Fateh Diwas and Banda SIngh Bahadur 300th Shahidi Diwas. The response was overwhelming .
